Plaque is a nasty buildup on the teeth that can be difficult to manage. This is how you can remove plaque naturally in your home and in natural conditions.
Plaque is a soft, sticky film that builds up on the teeth and it contains millions of bacteria. The bacteria in the plaque can cause tooth decay and gum disease if they’re not removed regularly through brushing and flossing. When you eat the bacteria in the plaque uses the sugars in the food to produce acids that can eat away at tooth enamel. Repeated attacks cause enamel to break down and can eventually result in a cavity.
Plaque is colorless and very difficult to see. When there are heavy plaque deposits it can be seen easier and may look like a thick white deposit of food stuck between the teeth. It is constantly growing in the mouth which leads to tartar build-up and the best way to prevent that is to brush and floss every day. These home remedies will help you get rid of plaque if you’re one of those people who hate going to the dentist and brushing.
